Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

 

DealJaan helps people to avail the best shopping deals which otherwise would have been in-accessible! It is a virtual Shopping Assistant that recommends Buyers the best card to be used while shopping to maximize the benefits in terms of cashback, discount, rewards etc and also helps Buyers to connect with Payers(Cardholders) to make payment on Buyer’s behalf for extending their unused benefits associated with card linked offers. Following are the Important Terms & Conditions which are considered as “agreed” by all the users using the services of this Platform either as Buyer or Payer:

 

Terms & Conditions for Buyers:

1.    By opting for requesting payers to extend their payment offer benefits to you, your order to merchant is not guaranteed. The same will be confirmed only after one of the payers accept and processes your request by placing the order with merchant

 

2.    The 'Cashback' amount shown in offer notification is potential and actual amount may vary based on actual offer conditions as well as prevailing prices during order placement by payer

 

3.    Amount paid by you to DealJaan will be utilized to make payment to Payer once they complete the processing of your request

 

4.    By making this request, you are agreeing that a potential Payer will process your request for purchase by placing order with merchant and during that your information about Name, Address, Cart Items etc will be visible to Payer who is making payment on your behalf so as to extend the resulting benefit of the card linked offer to you [The above details also will be accessible to DealJaan and the same can be used by DealJaan in its discretionary manner so as to extend benefits of further promotional offers to customers directly OR through its partners]

 

5.    In exception cases, it may happen that item which was available while it was added to a cart by you, may become unavailable / out of stock / price may get changed etc. In such cases, order may not be completed by Payer. If this happens then your entire amount will be refunded back to you

 

6.    Total order value may change due to addition of delivery charges as applied by merchant based on type of products / items / delivery location etc. In such cases, the same will be deduced from potential cashback value and the Net value will be credited to Buyer as part of cashback

 

7.    Items under ‘Lighting Deals’ and ‘Flash Sale’ are advised NOT to be ordered by requesting to Payers as by the time your request is accepted by Payer, deal may become un-available. However Buyers can use the app for making purchase using their own cards and get some incentives in terms of cashback.

 

8.    In case if buyer wants to return the goods under return policy of merchant, they can send mail with required details to our support team. Our team will get in touch with buyer within 24-48 hours to verify the details and then their request will be processed further. Buyer will be kept informed about processing of their refund request. In case of partial returns, the offer benefits extended to buyers will be deducted from the refund amount.

 

Terms & Conditions for Payers:

1.  The confidentiality of details of the Buyer must be maintained by Payer while processing the request. And shall not be used for any other purpose other than the processing of a given request and placing the order with merchant

 

2.  If offer is of type cashback which may be given to Payer by Issuer after N days OR on providing some details / fulfilling some other conditions (like total spend within the offer period OR registering with Issuer prior to availing the offer etc) then it will be the sole responsibility of Payer e.g. Payer makes the payment of 10000 where 10% cashback will be paid by Issuer after 30 days. In such case, when Payer makes the payment to Merchant for 10000, DealJaan will reimburse only 9000 considering the 1000 cashback to be received by Payer from Issuer. Payer is solely responsible for claiming 1000 cashback from respective Issuer

 

3.  In case of any dispute between Payer and Issuer wrt any discrepancy between expected benefit Vs actual benefit received, it will be sole responsibility of Payer to settle the dispute with Issuer. DealJaan will not be accountable for any such dispute between Payer & Issuer

 

4.  In case of any item is returned by Buyer to merchant then merchant in turn will process the refund and credit the fund to Payer. As and when Payer receives the fund, the same should be transferred to DealJaan via NEFT to DealJaan's Account Number (will be communicated for such cases) within 2 days. In case of any failure to do so may result into penal interest for late payment @ 12% p.a. along with legal action on need basis for recovering the amount which is payable back to Buyer

 

Privacy Policy:

1.    The application captures information about Name, Address, Cart Items etc of the User (Buyer) which will be visible to other User(Payer) who is making payment on Buyer’s behalf so as to extend the resulting benefit of the card linked offer to Buyer [The above details also will be accessible to DealJaan and the same can be used by DealJaan in its discretionary manner so as to extend benefits of further promotional offers to customers directly OR through its partners]
